Men’s Leadership Alliance (MLA)

MLA provides education, training, and resources for men of all ages, their families, and organizations. We live and teach a sustainable, process-oriented, community based, inclusive style of leadership. We are an alliance of individuals and organizations who have dedicated our lives to creating a world where everyone can be whole and live the fullness of their life purpose.

From our Colorado home base, the Alliance gives voice and direction to the wisdom of our ancestors, mentors, and teachers. We align ourselves with the wisdom of great teachers…. Buddha, Lao Tzu, Jesus, Spinoza, Jung, Gandhi, Mandela, Dalai Lama, and Martin Luther King, Jr, and countless other men and women whom  who went against the norms of their times and cultures and took the risks to create a loving, inclusive, and just world where all creation is honored and respected.

These elders provide us with leadership models that truly respects:

Our one earth and the lessons of organic unfolding,

all peoples and their diverse belief systems,

         non-violence and healthy conflict,

creating the greatest good for the greatest number,

holding means as important as ends and

listening deeply, both within and to others.

We live a double life, civilized in scientific and technical matters, wild and primitive in the things of the soul. That we are no longer conscious of being primitive, makes our tamed kind of wildness all the more dangerous. – Hans Von Hentig

Our guides, training staff, and the potent and diverse alliance of associates provides a variety of programs and services based on the guiding principles above.

The Alliance is an inclusive organization that provides a variety of programs and resources to men deal with life’s challenges, and for groups or individuals who want to provide support to men and a source of information about men’s soul work.
